Is directly accountable and responsible to the Dean of Enrollment Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Responsible for providing leadership in planning, coordinating, directing and evaluating of all enrollment services activities., including the use of the Customer Relationship Management Software (CRM).
  2. Responsible for the International Student admissions program including maintenance of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security SEVIS system at BSC.
  3. Responsible for the direction and leadership of the Admissions Office.
  4. Responsible for supervising reporting staff.
DUTIES:
Coordinates and implements recruitment and enrollment of students - 90%
  1. Directs and manages the strategy, direction and oversight of recruitment activities.
  2. Manages the admissions and recruitment office and directs the workflow.
  3. Advises and assists the Dean of Enrollment Management in campus enrollment management strategies, special projects, tasks, etc.
  4. Manages the SEVIS system for data collection, tracking and certification of all international students.
  5. Oversees the maintenance and development of the CRM & Application systems to increase efficiency and track results; including product upgrades, enhanced features, marketing campaigns and social media initiatives. Makes recommendations regarding additions to the system such as building filters and generating reports.
  6. Develops an in-depth recruitment plan for prospective students and applicants.
  7. Develops marketing pieces sent to prospective students, high school counselors, and area businesses. Works closely with College Relations to stay abreast of the latest pieces and assist in the development of campus wide marketing materials.
  8. Provides outreach information and presentations to area businesses, nonprofit organizations, counselor workshops and speaks publicly to individuals and groups on and off campus; including one on one with parents and prospective students.
  9. Provides programming and outreach to parents/guardians of prospective students.
  10. Collaborates with NDUS office staff and other NDUS Admission Directors to design, implement and coordinate NDUS admission activities.
  11. Directs, reviews, and enforces rules and regulations governing the admission process for prospective students.
  12. Belongs to and actively participates in relevant professional associations, attends appropriate conferences, attends and participates in regularly scheduled departmental and campus meetings.
Miscellaneous duties - 10%
  1. Promotes innovation, creativity and ideas to improve/enhance processes, functions, etc. in the department and as a whole for the college while focusing on innovation at a flat level and fostering a culture of no fear for innovative practices whether implemented or not.
  2. Performs other duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree with appropriate major such as education, marketing, communication, etc. and three years of related work experience.
  • Two years of supervisory experience.
  • Excellent project management skills, commitment to detail and follow-up and experience managing events.
  • Must have the ability to speak well and present a good public appearance.
  • Must have the ability to plan, organize and determine methods that produce desired results and meet required deadlines.
  • Familiar and proficient in electronic communications such as text and instant messaging, customer service skills, and ability to communicate well with a variety of people.
  • Proficient in working knowledge of computer software programs (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, electronic calendar and email) and excellent keyboarding skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexibility in managing multiple job assignments.
  • Ability to take initiative, make independent judgments/decisions and work as a team member.
  • Must be willing to travel and work flexible hours along with a current valid driver's license.
Preferred:
  • Appropriate master's degree.
  • Experience with online marketing/student recruitment.
  • Familiar with PeopleSoft or other student administrative software.
  • Marketing experience.
  • Higher education experience in a similar position.
