Job Details
The primary responsibility of the Financial Accountant is to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of the financial position and performance of the Irish trading business units.

Main Responsibility
Details
Audit
Effectively work with external auditors on various requests for analysis and information
Monthly Report Compilation and Analysis
- Preparation of timely monthly management accounts of assigned entities
- Maintain, reconcile and resolve P&L and Balance Sheet ledger accounts
- Timely and accurate preparation of journal entries for month end, quarter end, and year end close
- Prepare, correct and allocate S G&A expenses to business units
- Record monthly standard accruals (including ACS monthly invoices)
- Ensure appropriate recharge of I-Expenses for employees in a timely manner
- Preparation of financial analysis and management reports for internal and external use
- Report company performance to strict corporate reporting deadlines.
- Ensure all G/L reconciliations have been completed on a monthly basis.
- Prepare P&L margin reports for the distinct business units.
- Support the Business Units in variance analysis and accurate reporting.

- Previous Financial Analysis/accounting experience (8-10 years post qualification experience).

•Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

•Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly. Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time in order to meet build requirements. Must possess the ability to read build sheets and blueprints.
•The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or GED is required.
•Job specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on-the-job and classroom training. General instructions are given on recurring duties, operations and assignments; detailed instructions are given on new duties, operations and assignments.
