Job Details

Position Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and teaching within the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) didactic starting Fall 2019 and potentially experiential curriculum, and provide service to the School/College/University. A clearly delineated line of independent research and research/scholarship productivity is expected. Based on department need and individual qualifications, the individuals might develop and/or maintain a clinical practice site.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Pharm.D. degree
• Completed a PGY -1 ASHP -accredited residency, or have accumulated at least three years in clinical pharmacy practice
• Previous teaching experience in didactic Pharm.D. curriculum for a minimum of 4 years
• Current or eligibility to obtain North Dakota pharmacist licensure.
• Must have a strong record of research productivity and original research publications in a clearly defined area in clinical, community-based and/or health-outcomes research.
• Clearly delineated line of independent research and demonstrate research leadership.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrate development of depth in their primary area of research.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Sustained scholarly productivity.
• Track record of research funding from competitive grants.
• Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification.
• Teaching experience in didactic Pharm.D. curriculum for over 4 years
