Advertising Sales Manager

The North Dakota Association of Rural Electric Cooperatives (NDAREC) in Mandan, ND, is accepting applications for an advertising sales manager. NDAREC offers an excellent benefits package, competitive salary and opportunity for commission.

Primary responsibilities:

• Direct traditional and digital advertising sales and marketing for publications, primarily for the North Dakota Living magazine.
• Establish advertising revenue and sales goals.
• Develop strategies and direct activities designed to meet sales goals.
• Pursue direct ad sales opportunities for new and existing accounts.
• Manage relationships with advertisers, organizations, key partners, agencies and other external sources.
• Market and promote North Dakota Living and NDAREC across various platforms and venues to drive advertising and broaden awareness.
• Attend trade shows, events and conferences to promote magazine and association.
• Track competitive activity and market trends to provide recommendations and shape strategies.
• Prepare monthly sales reports.
• Monitor and assist with collection of overdue accounts.

Experience and education:

• Five years of experience in advertising sales.
• Prefer college degree with marketing or business emphasis.
